3. THE FORMAL GARDENS

As you walk through the Iris Garden, towards Holland House you will reach the formal garden, made up of geometric arrangements. The garden was created in 1812 by Buonaiuti and was originally known as the Portuguese garden until England's relationship with Portugal deteriorated and the garden was renamed.
