Arial Perspective
The other form of perspective is referred to as aerial perspective, and it is concerned with the atmosphere that filters the strength of colour out of distant objects. The nearer the object is, the stronger or the more contrast it will show against its background and in the detail within itself, whereas things like trees will be simpler as they get into the distance. A grey-green will be sufficient to denote them, or even a pale blue grey or purple.
